Today’s Google Doodle: Google 13th Birthday

Today’s Google Doodle celebrates Google 13th birthday in the search engine internet industry. Google’s doodle this day is not as fancy and interactive like their previous doodles. Their birthday doodle is a plain simple ordinary birthday celebration scene.

Their 13th birthday doodle is a simple 13 year old children’s party scene from where the Google characters stand around a table with a cake in the center. Plain and simple as it looks, probably Google wanted us to realize that wherever they are or how far they are now they will remain as humble as they have started.

Today’s Google Doodle celebrates Jim Henson’s 75th birthday. Google Doodle never fails creating fantastic and very interactive doodle every time they commemorate someone unforgettable. Jim Henson is the creator of the Muppets that is why Google’s logo presents puppets that can be interactively manipulate.

Jim Henson was born on September 24, 1936 and had been known to perform in different television programs such as the unforgettable “Sesame Street” and the famous “The Muppet Show.”

Today’s Google Doodle: Albert Szent 118th Birthday

Today’s Google Doodle is a commemoration for Albert Szent 118th Birthday. Albert Szent-Györgyi is a Hungarian Scientist who is popularly known for his Nobel prize recognition of discovering Vitamin C.

He was born on September 16, 1893 and died on October 22, 1986.

Today’s Google Doodle: 112th Birthday of Jorge Luis Borges

Today’s Google Doodle commemorates Jorge Luis Borges 112th birthday an Argentine poet, essayist, and short story writer.

One of the famous works of Jorge Luis Borges is “The Garden of Forking Paths” that was published in 1941. He was born in Buenos Aires but spent most of his life in Switzerland and Spain. Before he got famous he worked as a librarian and a public lecturer he even have this well-known quote “I have always imagined that paradise will be a kind of library.”

Today’s Google Doodle: Pierre de Fermat 410th Birthday

Today is the French Mathematician’s Pierre de Fermat 410th Birthday and in commemoration of his birthday Google made a special Doodle for him.

Today’s Google Doodle is a school blackboard with codes written and if you will hover above the doodle you will see this: “I have discovered a truly marvelous proof of this theorem, which this doodle is too small to contain.”

Google Buys Motorola For $12.5 Billion

Today August 15, 2011 Google acquired Motorola Mobility for about $12.5 billion.

Motorola was once knew to be one of the first handset that use Android for their handsets from where they are able to be somehow successful in the US Market.
