The whole chapter is pretty ok though I found nothing too special this time and was just bit of explanation of what really happens in between. Just like how it explains what actually happens with Zoro, Sanji and Brook and how Yeti Brothers take advantage with their lame gas attack with the group.

Though the trio is affected by the attack I was amazed with Zoro’s awareness of being able to cut off the icicles that was supposed to kill them as they from the cliff. Because of that not so clever attack, Yeti Cool Brothers have taught that the group was dead and instructed the group of masked people to check the groups dead body. Jinbei have a point but I did not expect him to act that much and I was surprised with Jinbei strength inflicting Luffy some damages. Although I was not that really impressed with the story line, what I like about the chapter is Oda’s choice to introduce new powers with the other Straw Hat crews aside from the funny moments all over the chapter.

Robin’s new power to appear and disappear which looks to be more of a teleporting power for me but I am not really sure how that really works. I was also surprised to see Brooks other abilities aside from music. Brooks ability to get his soul out of his body is totally cool and very useful with their current situation but I hope that Mr. Pappug will recognize Brook immediately so that he can help the rest of Straw Hat Crew to be back in action again.

It was all because of Vander Decken IX why the Mermaid Princess is kept hidden inside the Koukaku Tower. This is because Vander Decken IX wanted to marry Princess Shirahoshi, unfortunately she refused Vanders offer and that makes the evil pirate decided to kill the Mermaid Princess.

Vander possess the power called ‘Mato-Mato’ making him capable of hitting anything he wanted to target, and that was the reason behind the axe and the scratches within Mermaid Princess Koukaku Tower doors.
